Lee Burnett is Project Manager for Local Wood WORKS. The woods have inspired him in many ways. He was briefly a forestry major in college and co-owned a firewood business post-college. He's written about forestry issues as a long-time Maine journalist. More recently, he's promoted forestry through grant writing, development of a town forest, and as project manager for Forest Works!, a regional working forest conservation initiative in York County.
